But for us, that’s where the real work begins. We build trust for our customers and offer them sturdy structures and overall services.

And that trust is delivered by our hardworking installation team. These skilled crew members are the hands behind every structure. Let’s take you behind the scenes of a typical day in their lives, so you know exactly what happens when you order a steel building.

Are you ready to enjoy a day in the life of our installation team?

What Happens After You Place the Order?

As you place an order, behind the scenes, a lot of things start happening. It ensures your metal building is delivered and installed smoothly.

Here’s what happens step by step:

Order Confirmation and Processing

Once you have placed the order, our system confirms all the details. The details include information about the metal building type you have chosen, its size, custom features, and designs like windows, doors, colors, roof style, steel gauge, and others using our 3D estimator tool. It also records your location and delivery address to send the order to the right location.

Place the Order

Now comes the payment confirmation. But before this, we discuss the specifications with you personally and confirm all the features you need in the building. If you have any questions, we clear all your doubts. After this, you can start processing the payment. After that, the order goes to our processing team. They double-check everything to avoid mistakes. If anything is unclear, we call you to confirm it again.

Material Preparation and Quality Checks

The next step is preparation. Now, we send your order to our manufacturer at the factory. The manufacturer takes care of all the steps further, like collecting raw materials and shaping the building parts as per specifications.

Here are the steps they follow to design steel components of your building:

  • They collect raw material, then cut and label Steel frames
  • Roof panels are shaped and sorted
  • Hardware kits that include screws, bolts, anchors are packed
  • Any custom features are organized separately

Every material goes through a quality check to make sure it’s strong, rust-free, and ready for installation. It’s because we want everything to fit perfectly when it arrives at your site.

Site Readiness and Customer Coordination

You should also be ready to receive our order so installation can start early. For this, before we send the installation team, we check if your site is ready. A scheduler from our team will call or email you to ask:

  • Is the ground flat and level?
  • Is there enough space for our crew and truck?
  • Have you cleared the area of debris, rocks, or obstacles?
  • Do you need any permits or HOA approval?

All these questions are necessary for a smooth installation and save time and effort. We also confirm if you will be home on the installation day. Well, it’s not required, but helpful, if our crew needs to ask you anything.

This step ensures that nothing delays your project once the crew arrives.

A Typical Installation Day: Step-by-Step

Here is how our day starts when we need to reach your location with the building components. A day in the life of our installers from start to finish.

Early Morning Start and Loading the Truck

Our crew’s day starts before the sun comes up. They reach the warehouse early, usually around 5:30 or 6:00 AM. They go straight to work after the briefing. Our team checks the list of materials for your order. Then they load the steel frames, panels, tools, and hardware onto the truck.

Everything is double-checked. They also take care of their safety with helmets, gloves, and vests. Before leaving, the team reviews your address, site notes, and any special instructions.

Then it’s go time.

Arrival at the Site and Initial Checks

Once they arrive at your location, they inspect the site. Inspection helps them to analyze when and how they can proceed with the installation.

They check for the following things:

  • A clear and level ground
  • Space for their truck and tools
  • Obstacles like rocks, mud, or low-hanging trees

If your site looks good, they unload the materials and get started. If not, they might need to pause or adjust the plan. That’s why checking site readiness earlier is so important.

Framing, Roofing, and Custom Add-ons

Now the real building begins. Our team starts unloading the steel parts to join them as per your design requirements.

Here are the typical steps they follow.

Step 1: Framing

They start by setting the base and anchoring the steel posts to the ground. Then they add the horizontal beams to build the frame or “skeleton” of your building.

Step 2: Roofing

Next, they install the roof trusses and panels. This part can take time, especially on tall or enclosed buildings. The crew uses ladders and power tools with great care to prevent falls and damage to building parts.

Step 3: Custom Add-ons

Once our team completes the framework, they will check the extra features you ordered. These are crucial features that give your structure a personalized look.

Some customized features are mentioned below that the team adds:

  • Roll-up doors
  • Walk-in doors
  • Windows
  • Gables and trims
  • Insulation (Single bubble, double bubble, woven R-17)

Every piece is installed exactly as per your order. If anything is unclear, they check with the team or give you a quick call.

Behind the Scenes Support You Don’t See

You only see the team working on site, but there is one more team that is working out of your sight quietly from the day you place the order. They are not visible, but they play a big role in making sure everything goes smoothly.

Right after you place your order, our support team starts planning many things.

  • They choose the best installation date
  • Make sure materials are ready on time
  • Talk to the crew about your location and building type
  • Call or message you to confirm site conditions and any last-minute details

Sometimes, weather and other issues come up; in this case, they quickly reschedule and inform concerned people about the project, especially crew members gearing up to leave for the location. Good scheduling keeps the project running without delays.

Sometimes, unexpected things happen at the site, like:

  • The ground is not level
  • There is a missing part
  • Or bad weather ahead

When this happens, the installation crew contacts our office team. Together, they find fast solutions. So, whether it’s sending an extra part, rescheduling, or giving technical advice, our support team is always ready to help. This teamwork helps avoid bigger problems and keeps your project on track.

Moreover, even after your building is installed, our team checks:

  • Photos from the installation site
  • Makes sure everything looks safe and correct
  • Answers your questions after installation
  • Helps with warranty details or future add-ons

We provide a 20-year frame warranty that covers repair and replacement of the structure. However, it is applicable when you choose 12-gauge steel, vertical roof style for any length, regular roof style up to 31 feet long, boxed eave roof style up to 31 feet long, and a limited lifetime warranty on certified structures.
